About Me
I am a PhD Economics Student at Lancaster University supervised by Prof. Lorenza Rossi and Dr. Stefano Fasani. I obtained my MSc in Applied Economics from the University of Strathclyde.
Before starting my PhD, I worked as a Research Assistant (Economist) at the Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa (CSEA). My work covered macroeconomic monitoring and evidence-based policy-oriented development research, including the production of CSEA’s monthly Nigeria Macroeconomic Snapshot, policy briefs, research reports and presentations. Selected examples of my macroeconomic monitoring work are available here.
I also serve as an EDI representative for the North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership. In my free time, I mentor graduate students from Africa who are interested in pursuing higher education opportunities. If you are an African student considering graduate school and need guidance, shoot me an email here.
